The DC Black keeps your tone pure while adding great mild clipping.  There is no mid-range-hump, no soft, wooly bass; rather a great, even guitar tone with added drive. The tone knob is actually a treble boost and the gain ranges from almost pure clean to a medium level gain.  This pedal is the clearest overdrive we offer.
