DESCRIPTION:
A uniquely elegant instrument, the Artisan Tamo Ash Strat is where form and function unite for players who demand the finest the Custom Shop can offer. Crafted from four different species of wood - a roasted ash body with Tamo ash top and back and a medium-roasted AAA birdseye maple neck with flat-lam African blackwood fingerboard - this Strat has no idea what the word 'restraint' means.
Three hand-wound Custom Shop '60/'63 single-coil Stratocaster pickups - including a RWRP middle pickup - provide authentic vintage-style tone, with all the pristine highs, punchy mids and robust lows that made the Strat a legend. Vintage Modified Strat #2 wiring adds even more sonic variety, connecting the middle pickup to the first tone control and adding a Tone-Saver treble-bleed circuit to the master volume control, ensuring your tone remains unchanged when reducing the instrument's volume.
Other features include a lightweight two-piece body with nitrocellulose lacquer finish and WLS undercoat, " '63 Strat C"-shaped neck profile, 9.5"-12" compound-radius fingerboard, six-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge, gold hardware, 21 6105 frets, gold anodized pickguard, bone nut and wing string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and Certificate of Autheniticity.
