Seymour Duncan Active 5-String Jazz Bass Pickup Set

These active pickups for 4- or 5-string Jazz Bass have been designed with the needs of modern bass players and their instruments in mind.

The neck pickup is fat and present with enough punch and snap to give your low B-string brilliance and definition. The bridge has great highs, solid bottom and a dip in the mids for warmth and clarity. The dual contoured blades have an extra wide sensing area and provide balanced output from string to string while accommodating a wide variety of spring spacings.

A fully discrete, ultra quiet, single battery preamp delivers low impedance output with excellent dynamic range. Micropower design techniques extend battery life well over 2,000 hours of operation. The humbucking design rejects all common-mode noise sources, even at high gain levels. And they're double potted in wax then sealed in epoxy to eliminate microphonic feedback.

These are direct replacements for standard Jazz style bass pickups and require no instrument modification. Wiring diagram, mounting screws, potentiometers, battery clip, 1/4" switching jack and wire are included. Battery not included
